PrayWithStandingRock.com and UNIFY are joining together for a global, synchronized prayer on the 26th of November…I’m in!
Greetings,
Will you Stand with Standing Rock with us?
Meditate and Pray with us this week?
We have been feeling a deep call to positively impact the Standing Rock movement, and have received many requests from the UNIFY community for a synchronized prayer.
As non-natives we wanted to be culturally sensitive to the needs of our indigenous friends so we waited to be invited, we asked for guidance, and most importantly for permission.
We are now clear on our role and in full force activation for Standing Rock.
Unify’s Co-founder Patrick and devoted friends from diverse backgrounds – musicians, civil rights lawyers, scientists, yogis, and more – have been traveling for days from Los Angeles, and arrived at Standing Rock yesterday.
We are going to pray on the front lines, protecting what is sacred, offering our devoted service and giving you an opportunity to join us.
Please join the global synchronized prayer November 26th at 3pm Central (4pm EST) that we are organizing in collaboration with, and with the permission of, the Tribal Council at Standing Rock.
You may join a local event on our map or add your own from wherever you are!
“May the prayers be everywhere, all at once!” -Chief Phil Lane
As you may have seen in the news or social media, the tensions are high at Standing Rock right now and we are thus devoted to infusing inner and outer peace through our synchronized prayer, and additional peaceful collaborative efforts as appropriate.
If
you are inspired, please join us this Saturday 3pm CST, unifying with
thousands world wide as we pray with Standing Rock for one hour of
silence.
We are offering an interactive map which will serve as a hub for individuals and organizations to find each other and grow our global community towards a sustainable future that honors our many diverse cultural traditions.
Now, more than ever it is time to stand with our indigenous friends and support them as they protect sacred waters.
They
have endured centuries of oppression and though we cannot take away the
wrongs of history, we can create a better future together. This is one small way that we can gift them our support.
It is our intention to play a supporting role,
to help educate non-natives how to become culturally conscious allies,
to raise funds, to raise awareness through a grass-roots social media
campaign, to join our energies together in prayer (or meditation) during
this time of great potential.
