The Aquarium Age Report For July 1-7, 2015

Weekly Frequency By Ralfee Finn

Hello to Aquarium Age readers in Meppen!

It’s another week of astro-complexity, as the planets align in complementary as well as confrontational patterns. It’s likely that regular routines will be anything but…making it wise to expect more than a few unexpected events to disrupt even the best-made plans. While some of these surprising shifts of fortune might be classified as negative, for the most part this week’s unforeseen plot tweaks are beneficial. That being said, there are also tough configurations that suggest an increase in power struggles and those conflicts run the gamut from petty to profound. Take your stand when a stand is necessary—and in certain instances it is—but also try to avoid becoming embroiled in a meaningless standoff that serves no greater purpose than blowing off steam.

The source of conflict is a Sun/Mars conjunction, in Cancer, opposite Pluto, in Capricorn. A Sun/Pluto opposition always signals power plays, if only because Pluto represents the issues of power and control. The Sun represents spirit, the life force made visible through each living being. When the Sun transits Cancer, human spirits in the material world become concerned with issues of nurturing, safety, and security. Mars signifies the arms, legs, and muscle of the body as well as the ego, and when it shares the same space as the Sun, in Cancer, emotional bodies lean toward taking action to ensure safety and security.

Capricorn represents the structures of authority—actual structures, such as corporations, government, and political parties, as well as abstract structures, such as the constitution or economies. Pluto symbolizes death and rebirth, and as it continues to transit Capricorn we continue to experience its transformative power through challenges to powerful yet stagnant authorities that no longer serve individual and collective needs.

But it’s Mars that poses the problem because Mars likes a fight, and as it joins the Sun/Pluto opposition, it turns those power struggles even more volatile than they might normally be. What’s more, today and tomorrow, the Moon conjuncts Pluto and opposes the Mars/Sun conjunction, supercharging the entire bundle with a compulsive emotional need to be in complete control. Expect lots of ultimatums, yours or others’. Also anticipate many of those demands will be completely unrealistic. The Mars/Pluto opposition is exact on July 15, and as it separates, Mars is conjunct the Moon. Yikes! Yes, “yikes” because those of us who are committed to keeping the peace are going to need all of our stamina to hold fast to our resolve.

The good news is the ongoing Venus/Jupiter/Uranus alliance that continues to provide sudden—and sometimes startling—plot twists that are capable of steering a well-plotted course to an entirely new destination. Today, the Venus/Jupiter conjunction, in Leo, is exact, but because Venus begins a retrograde phase July 25, she will spend most of July in close proximity to Jupiter, which means the positive and powerful creative potential of this combination will last for several weeks. A Venus/Jupiter conjunction in any Sign stirs romantic yearnings, but when you add the influence of Leo, those longings have the potential to turn deeply passionate as well as dramatic.

Uranus, in Aries, supplies the element of surprise as well as innovation to the dynamism of Venus/Jupiter, an influence that’s best witnessed in the recent United States Supreme Court ruling on same-sex marriage. “Love wins” became the mantra of that day. Wouldn’t it be great if “Love wins” becomes the mantra for everyday, even the days beyond the influence of Venus, Jupiter, and Uranus?

Sun Bursts: If you know your Ascendant and/or your Moon Sign, read that too.

Aries March 21-April 19
It’s only a crisis if you decide to make the situation a battleground. Yes, there are real moments of opposition, but you can be the peacemaker if you stay centered on what matters most. You have a rare opportunity to skillfully soften any rough edges—so, make the most of it.

Taurus April 20-May 20
Difficult information delivered by confrontational conversations has the potential to stir anxiety about personal security. But challenging interactions are mitigated by an equally strong potential toward internal as well as external stability. It’s your choice: Brood? Or be happy?

Gemini May 21-June 21
Yes, there are real financial concerns that require your attention. But—and this is a big one—there are also plenty of opportunities to find creative, positive solutions to your situations. This is not about denial; this is about applying effort and energy to solving the problem.

Cancer June 22-July 22
Mars in your Sign makes you the leader, so don’t be surprised if you’re in military mode, barking commands at your “troops.” It will take all of your discipline to stay even-tempered, but it is possible, especially if you remember you can catch more flies with honey than with vinegar.

Leo July 23-August 22
It’s all a matter of perspective: You can see yourself as a victim of circumstances. Or you can surrender to a deep mysterious process over which you have no control, but with humility can come to understand as beneficial. It’s not a simple process, but if you change your mindset, you’ll change your world.

Virgo August 23-September 22
Your challenge is finding the patience to wait out the “fools” who are all trying to hurry the outcome. Breathe, deeply, all the way to your toes, and keep breathing until you feel your feet on the ground. This may seem like a silly exercise, but you might find it a beneficial way to handle stress.

Libra September 23-October 22
Rather than focus your attention on all your emotional needs that aren’t getting met, concentrate on how you can meet the needs of others. I’m not suggesting self-sacrifice. I am simply advising you to be generous of spirit—for there is great joy to be found in meeting the needs of others.

Scorpio October 23-November 21
Certain conversations are sure to be disconcerting, but don’t let that completely undermine your sense of wellbeing. Sometimes words have the power to disturb and disrupt, and sometimes the disturbance and disruption can have a lasting benefit.

Sagittarius November 22-December 21
More than a money issue (and it may well be), what you’re up against is a clash in values and it’s hard to see a way out. Of course, there is a solution, but accessing it means putting aside the desire for a personal reward and relying instead upon your philosophical nature to help you to surrender and accept.

Capricorn December 22-January 19
It is a partnership problem, but you don’t have to let strife with significant others turn into a full-scale battle. Calm it down by being willing to listen and consider your opponent’s point of view. Even a glimmer of insight will help relieve the tension and transform your position.

Aquarius January 20-February 18
Refuse to engage in battle with anyone—that’s right, anyone—and you’ll find the perfect way to avoid the victim/victimizer dance. Of course, you may find this stance boring (and it just might be) but it will protect you from becoming embroiled in arguments you’d rather not have.

Pisces February 19-March 20
Channel your aggressive energy into creative projects and you’ll find the perfect solution to handle the intensity. Don’t misunderstand—take a stand if you must. Just don’t let the righteousness of that stand turn into self-righteousness that blinds you to the possibility of positive transformation.
