What Is A Lightworker?

What is a lightworker? Let me make an introductory statement of the matter here.

A lightworker is one of a group of people who’ve come in this lifetime from other planets, other dimensions and, in some cases, other kingdoms to help in a global shift of consciousness that’s happening on Earth at the present time.

That shift has generally been called “Ascension.” It was known in the Bible as the “Rapture” and the “end times.” It was  described in the Mayan Calendar.

The age which it inaugurates was known to Hindus as the Sat Yuga or Age of Truth. Westerners know it as the Age of Aquarius and the Golden Age.

One source calling itself “Our Universal Family,” tells us that “many of you have come to act as conscious wayshowers and Lightworkers for the ascension of the planet. … You’re helping others who may otherwise remain unaware to unlock and re-find the Divine burning flame that can never be extinguished.” (1)

The Arcturian Group explains that lightworkers as a class are not restricted to those who work marvels:

“Many still hold concepts of what a Lightworker is, believing it refers only to those who heal, preach, or do fabulous psychic readings. No, Lightworkers are all who bring Light to the world through their evolved state of consciousness. This is reflected in the Light of your energy field – You.” (2)

SaLuSa of Sirius describes the mission of the lightworker:

“As Lightworkers many of you have specific roles to play to help manifest the [global] changes [in consciousness]. Each of you volunteered to serve the Light at such an important time, and be assured that every contribution is essential to the whole.

 “Providing you can stay focused on your task, you will be doing your bit to help bring about the changes that are essential to manifest the Light.” (3)

He tells us that all light workers here on Earth at this time were selected for their missions before birth:

“Each of you has been selected to be here for such an occasion and for many of you life will suddenly offer you the changes that you have been seeking. As Lightworkers you each have something to offer that will be utilised at the right time. So do not worry or feel that your contribution is little compared to others, as all are important to the whole.” (4)

He explains on what basis lightworkers were selected:

“Be assured that you were selected because of your experience and ability to give of yourselves as required. At the same time your evolution is furthered by your new experiences and opportunities to clear karma.” (5)

Lightworkers are not here to proselytize or in other ways force a person to shift their consciousness, the Arcturian Group explains.

“Proselytizing and attempting to force a certain belief system – ‘my’ way is the only ‘right” way’ – onto others is an activity of ego.

“Even when you can clearly observe where someone is missing the mark, it must be understood that the experience is their lesson and their path, which may be totally different than yours. This does not mean you cannot throw out a helpful ‘seed’ of advice, but then let it go.“ (7)

Archangel Michael predicts that the lightworker community will grow and grow until it takes in the whole planet:

Archangel Michael: You are emissaries. You are wayshowers, you are pathfinders, you are regridders, reweavers. If leadership — and I use this in the communal sense of the word — if leadership does not have a clear sense of direction, of mission and purpose, how do you lead? How? No, it is important for the lightworker community because they have stepped forward, acknowledged, and remembered why they are here.

So we are in this sacred partnership. Are we in partnership with every being on the planet? Yes. But it is difficult when you are in a partnership and the other person does not realize it. So we are working with those who realize we are in partnership. And that is why we are having these conversations.

So, does the conversation expand organically and naturally? Does the energy go out to the entire planet, those who want to hear and those who don’t want to hear? Yes, it does. But it begins with the lightworker community. That is what we have need of.

Steve Beckow:  And I suppose then more and more people will join the lightworker community?

AAM:  Exactly, until it is one family and one path. (8)

So lightworkers are beings who come from a dimension higher than the Third to act as conscious wayshowers during this time of Ascension. They’re here to help others who lack knowledge of the shift occurring at this time to become aware of and take advantage of it.

Lightworkers volunteered for this work before birth and have specific roles to play. They’ve been selected for their their evolved state of consciousness and for their ability to give of themselves as required.

They don’t proselytize or force anyone to do anything and they’re part of a community that will grow and grow until it includes everyone.
